This journal comes in two parts, firstly I'll be telling you a bit about my newest idea for my photography course at university. The second is about a rather interesting little photograph a good friend of mine

took, a VERY interesting photo indeed!

(P.S. these two are kinda related, so I'm not completely crazy hehe!

)
Firstly the Uni Project, we have to produce 6 photos of pretty much wahtever we want.

All we have to do is use the "design principles" and other stuff we've learnt in this course. It's kinda fun takign a 1st year course again, you get to do some pretty simple but FUN things. Well anyway...
I have decided to try replicate a series of parnanormal photos, yes you know those ghost images and UFO sighting, maybe even one of BIG FOOT himself! hehe! Well yeah im not gonna take TERRIBLY blurred shots with indistinct blurs and blobs, NO SIRREEEE BOB! I am trying to create a convincing photo here, one that could even "baffle" researchers (WHICH by the way is not the reason i am doing this!). I just wanted to portray a new fun element to the projects I've been doing, instead of the plain old boring shit half the class is going to do. SO yeah hehe that is my plan, to take these pics over the next few weeks and edit them etc. WOOT
Now on to some OTHER business...After discussing this idea about the paranormal themed photos, Ahmed

showed me a pic he took o little while ago. At first you cant really see much, but we needed "closer inspection" ie: playing around with the brightness, contrast, shadows, highlights etc. to try figure out what it was we were really looking at. Now I am a very skeptical person, especially about the paranormal, and EVEN more so about photos/video OTHER people I have never met have taken (damn crazy people, waering tin foil hats etc.

). I dont can't tell if they're trying to bullshit or not. And I leave an OPEN mind about any paranormal/extra terrestrial existence, I mean trillions of galaxies out there, the chances are endless.

But yeah back to this story, what we found was kinda eerie! Now firstly this has NOT been photoshopped, Ahmed has the files in RAW format, so yeah and secondly we aren't saying YES it's an alien spaceship. It is what it is, a U.F.O. (unidentified flying object), or even for accuracies sake ill say it is just a really weird anomaly. The thing that probably impressed me the most and gave me the most to think about is the fact that
A The lights have moved from one spot to another (in the two seperate photos). and
B These lights weren't visible to the naked eye, they were only seen through the camera using an extended exposure. Curiouser and curiouser...
So what does all this mean? Well from the limited information (visually

of course) we can make assumptions that it is a VERY faint light, from what we can see its probably circular in shape. Another strange thing is the colour, it's
GREEN and well, there's nothing in this photo that can be reflecting green. And yes ther harbour is right behind Ahmed in this photo, but there is nothing that is able reflect onto his camera and especially not in two places from the same angle!
Well here is the photo
[link] , I can only give you this one for now, and YES I know its a JPEG and not a RAW but still play around with it and give me your opinions on what you think it might be. And maybe at a later date I can pass on RAW images etc. for you to have a look at, but for obvious reasons im NOT just gonna hand out a friends artwork.
P.S. You should add this guy to your watch list, he is pretty friggin AWESOME photographer.
